Fifth Sister –10/24/14

…and then, well, really, she just didn’t want to rearrange the fruit in the fruit bowl and that’s all there was to it, so there!  Ha!  She can live her very well own life anyway she wants to and anyone who disagrees will just have to live with it.  And for a week or so, she smiled derisively at the bowl and fruit and didn’t touch it as she picked up her keys and marched decisively and, yes, proudly, out the door to go to work.  Now, that was assertive, if, yes, a little uncreative each day.  Then, wouldn’t you know it, one of the peaches rotted and just oozed flat as the oranges on top weighed down upon it.  Ok, ok, she would pick up the fruit and clean the bowl, but she wasn’t going to rearrange the fruit!  Then, ok, another day – fruit flies – nasty little flies all over the place – and she was late for work and ok, now she’s had it and the bowl and fruit they had it too and in a screaming frenzy she threw the fruit all over the room and table and the bowl out the window and then she screamed, “Now, there, that’s rearranging” and it felt so good, she felt so much better and told her son to pick up the mess and left for work.
