Fourth Granddaughter – 05/11/21
…and she was so happy to be at the beach, and she said to her brother, who was younger than her and did not yet see all things she would see, she said as she pointed, “See all the boats in the water,” and she took him by the hand so that he would be still so that he would see, and he looked at the boats and looked all around and looked at the sky and he pointed to the sky and said, “Like the clouds,” and she was just about to say, “No”, and she looked up at the sky and she loved seeing clouds, and yes, the clouds were white like the sails of the boat and they moved and sailed along in the sky just like the boats move and sail over the water, so amazing and wonderful, and she grabbed her brother by the hand because he could never be alone by the water, and she ran with him to their mother who sat on the beach reading a book, and she told her mother all about the boats with the white sails as she pointed to them and she told her mom about the white clouds and her brother pointed to the sky, and her mom looked at the boats and the sky and smiled and said, “Oh, that is amazing. You both are so amazing” and she got up, putting her book aside, and hugged them, then walked with them, as her daughter pulled her along by her hand, to see with them the boats and the clouds from the shore.
