Third Daughter – 11/24/14
… and as Lavita Lamour approached the Flatiron in the gloom of a drizzly November evening – her signature deep red stiletto high heels reflecting almost as a bleeding wound upon the wet pavement in the light of the streetlamp – a light she hurried past as she drew her black stylish trench coat closer around her, pulling her tres cool stylish black wide-brimmed hat further down upon her beautiful dark-brown hair with the reddish highlights – all to hide her identity, all to help her on her way, on her mission of justice, and her lips, the deep red of her high heels, parted slightly in a smile as she thought of how she would soon be upon her quarry – the pompous, offish, overweight, Donald Dowdy, Esq. For what she could not get by subpoena, she could obtain otherwise, and she had her ways. For she, dynamic, intelligent and valued attorney by day at an essentially stodgy, boring Manhattan law firm by day, occasionally, when needed, became the glamorous and dangerous Lavita Lamour, dangerous to the prideful and evil oppressors of the weak and helpless. And now, as she pressed the elevator to the 16th floor, she calmed her mind and focused on her evil target.
