…and as with somethings in life, everything here was just too much … of everything, too much detail, too much to gaze upon and think through and observe, and take in and well, just digest … yes digest.  This thought finally emerging from her fitful and frankly inpatient time of standing on tired feet studying birds, of all things!  And not even a chicken, not fried, or baked or stewed or fricasseed … she was hungry, yes, and her tired fee t… well, they took her to the cafeteria … Glorious!  Now here was the heart of the Museum, or at least the stomach, yes, let the art feed the mind and soul, but here, oh yes, let the cookies and cake and pie and all these fancy schmancy sandwiches costing way more than the ridiculous bread and bean sprouts and cranberry sauce with the cheese, but, oh please, don’t pretend, just food for the highbrow, for everyone knows she is not. For when she got married, didn’t she just give out a yell from the altar and didn’t she yell, “Yahoo, I got myself a man” and just dragged him back down the aisle. And well, he was really pleased – unlike his mother and sisters – and that was just too bad, and she, well, finally alone way too many long hours later, well, he was surprised how fast she knew how to rip everything off him – talk about a frenzy and, and, and then … She settled down at a quiet corner table and smiled enjoying the museum on her own…
